History
St Martin's Hospital was founded in 1898, and staffed just one nurse who cared for sick missionaries and their families.
Over the next 5 years the hospital expanded enough so that it could accommodate 305 patients per month.
Today
The hospital is now run by Dr Marieke Bos and Mr B.E.C. Ngosi and has grown to be a 100-bed rural hospital with OPD and in-patient services.
Facilities include:
- Maternity ward
- Paediatric ward
- Female and Male ward
The hospital also conducts mobile clinics to a catchment area that has a population of over 40,000 people.
